>>> 30 days later...

... and the next 8 will be torture.

*sighs*

It's unbelievable how close two people can become in such a short space of time.

And how inseparable they can be; to the point where parting ways becomes so painful that it's almost unbearable. Many thanks must go to Alexander Graham Bell for the invention of the basic telephone and the other genius [or geniuses] who came up with the improvements required to create the mobile cellphone.

I must really thank Shirl for the introduction and the setting up of a blind date with Nell, the love of my life who is my equal, and more so, on every level and in every way possible. If it's possible to love anyone more with every passing second... well, just suffice to say that I'll never ever stop loving her. *smiles widely*

It's amazing how I've gone from being completely prepared for being eternally single to being totally and utterly in love with another being, and being unable to imagine or conceptualize life without her. Sugoi or whut!?

However, in every bed of roses, there must be a few thorns hiding somewhere. In this case, it's the fact that Nell is leaving today for Thailand to spend time, 8 days, with her dad and look after her recuperating mom [omg, torture, motherfuckers, TORTURE!!! X( - The Musings on the Breeze crew].

But things are good and I hope that they continue to be so.

I love Nell more than anything or anyone, and that in itself is amazing.

We'll see how we survive the next eight days... smokes, anyone? *laughs* Nell would kill me if I smoked too much, but that's cool since I don't intend to smoke too much.

In ending this, thank you all for reading this really mushy entry.

And please excuse the sheer gallons of maple syrup erupting from or dripping off your screens.

Laterz, gaterz.

English ver.:
You're just like the sunlight through the leaves
Gave me the happy smile, courage and will to live on

The warmth of the heart in my memory
Is beyond all the trammels

It's all because of you, that I can live like myself

Singing I was born to love you is the proof of my love
And you trust that this feeling will be sent to you, and that you are still alive

Pity, happiness, sorrow, vexation, regret, anxiety
Make up the melody of love

Before I untied the knot in my heart
We were separated, but I have no regrets though I was sad
'Keep the love alive' I said this to myself
In order to keep the promise alive

The melody is surrounded by the love, fly to the sky

In that spring of overflowing love, to show you something more important than you have seen with your own eyes
This love for you is so deep, through time and space,
Beyond life itself, this is the song of my love

I touch your body and feel your breath, 'are you asleep already?'
If you are, then I whisper 'I love you'

It's all because of you, that I can live like myself
Singing I was born to love you is the proof of my love
And you trust that this feeling will be sent to you, and that you are still alive

In that spring of overflowing love, to show you something more important than you have seen with your own eyes

The flow of the melody when I met you
Still exist in this shaking time

Pity, happiness, sorrow, vexation, regret, anxiety
Make up the melody of love

Pity, happiness, sorrow, vexation, regret, anxiety
Make up the melody of love

I miss you, baby, even if it's been only a day, a few hours or even a few minutes since I last saw you...

>>> A public letter...

... to the unknown shoutbox Guest from IP:202.156.13.2.

Dear Guest,

We here at Musings on the Breeze thank you for your kind, philosophical words and the crew would like to apologize for not replying BUT we have been busy with our offline lives of late and have not been at liberty to update this cyberspace.

However, please do rest assured that this has been a subject of discussion for the past few weeks amongst the crew. We cannot refute your words as they do ring true for the most part. However, we are all human, or at least, most of us are, and therefore we all are prone to err even when we have the logic and rationale in place. So, we do apologize.

In addition, the Dark Ones would like to add that we never much liked anyone [however true that may be, we have no idea, we believe that they speak for themselves and themselves alone] and that everyone who thinks that we should move on should themselves move on.

Once again, we thank you for your words and have filed it under advisement.

And to the rest of our loyal readers, please do check back here once in a while. We'll be attempting to get the updating of this place back on track soon.

Thank you and we wish you all the best in your lives ahead.

Remembering to take a break along the way,
The Musings on the Breeze crew

>>> A dedication in time...

... to a certain someone. She should know who she is.

Here's To The Night
by EVE 6

So denied so I lied are you the now or never kind
In a day and a day love I'm gonna be gone for good again
Are you willing to be had are you cool with just tonight
Here's a toast to all those who hear me all too well

Here's to the nights we felt alive
Here's to the tears you knew you'd cry
Here's to goodbye
Tomorrow's gonna come too soon

Put your name on the line along with place and time
Wanna stay not to go I wanna ditch the logical
Here's a toast to all those who hear me all too well

Here's to the nights we felt alive
Here's to the tears you knew you'd cry
Here's to goodbye
Tomorrow's gonna come too soon

All my time is froze in motion
Can't I stay an hour or two or more
Don't let me let you go
Here's a toast to all those who hear me all too well

Here's to the nights we felt alive
Here's to the tears you knew you'd cry
Here's to goodbye
Tomorrow's gonna come too soon

I'm free again... and, yet, I don't feel all that good about it. Feh. Whatever.

>>> What drives a person..

... like myself and keeps him on the path?

My time on this earth has taught me a few things that I should've known instinctively before. But, like all things, it takes a while for someone to wrap their minds around certain concepts. Like what, you ask? I'll let you in on it...

Family is probably the only permanent ideal that a man can live for. Sacrifice is part and parcel of the compromise that this entails. And you can never really choose your family, it just chooses you.

Friends are the ones that keep a man sane and grounded. Without them, he will flounder and drown. However, he must have the right kind of friends, ones that will always be there to support and aid him without leading him down the wrong path. Honour those that walk the way by your side.

Duty can drive a man up the wall and into despair yet we can never let it drop to the wayside. It is always something you must perform, regardless of circumstance.

Love is fleeting and yet it's a never ending search. And even when found, it becomes a battle to hold on to it; yet, it's freely given and something that should be treasured.

Time changes all things, allows a man to develop, evolve and progress. But it's never easy.

In short, these are the things that drive me and give me my ethos of "Family Before Self, Blood Above All" and "Love, Duty, Honour, Sacrifice".

What drives you?

What does your life exemplify?

Only your true self can answer that.

So, don't ever cease your inner search.

Have a good night.

>>> Atten-HUT!

This is a notification to all that the insane soul known as KAZE.first will be heading for his first ever session-slash-cycle of reservist training. He, and the rest of his damn personas, will not be available for anything until the 26th of October.

We ask that you pray for the poor souls who end up in his company.

Goddamn military call-ups.

>>> Forgot to mention...

... unexpected gifts.

Raven, that unbelievably insane kind soul, gave me a hundred bucks as a present.

As well as Ben & Jerry's ice-cream.

Chocolate fudge, most yum.

I need to hit B&J's again when I get my pay.

EDIT: And not to forget that Gio and Ginelle actually called me after their shift at CV to sing me a birthday song! Wow, damn sweet of them!

*grin*

'Nuff said, move along!

>>> A year older...

... and none the wiser.

Or so most seem to think.

*shrugs*

Twenty-six. Past the quarter-of-a-century mark. Cripes.

My birthday passed without much incident. Basically, I didn't get punked, but I did end up working on my birthday, on my sixth straight shift - and I worked seven before I could cling to my two days off, which didn't give me much rest either - and was really stunned by some of my regulars. Secrets and Wiggy actually got me some really thoughtful presents: a huge sunflower (which is sitting in my house), a cute li'l birthday balloon (which is still floating in my store's backroom), a cute li'l dog-in-a-paper-bag paperweight and a really cool single sheet personalized card that had a really funny prose-ish piece on it.

Check it out:

And today's a special day
which calls for a rise in pay
But to our dismay
No fucking way! >:<
But it's okay
***'s coming your way
To chase the blues away :)

Sweet, neh? Though we have no idea what *** is, it really brightened up my day, it did. *laughs*

Even if I was freaking stoned and pissed off Huda. *shrug* Oh, well, shit happens and I'm only human.

I think.

Well wishes poured in from family and friends, regardless of where they were. There are no words to express how happy you guys and gals made li'l ol' moi... I LOVE YOU LOT!!! *jumps around*

Grimm, Ferret, Ero and Pervalidus dropped by to wish me...

... and then dragged me to Grimm's place for pizza and movies. All I can say is that watching Hitman while eating fresh home-delivered pizza with your posse is the bomb! *laughs* Plasticated should've been here... well, there's always next year!

Provided that I'm still alive, of course.

Which I should be.

Unless the rest of you have other plans?

>>> Much ado about nothing...

What Arvinraajkanagalingam Means

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic “Type A” personality.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are very hyper. You never slow down, even when it's killing you.
You're the type of person who can be a workaholic during the day... and still have the energy to party all night.
Your energy is definitely a magnet for those around you. People are addicted to your vibe.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are fair, honest, and logical. You are a natural leader, and people respect you.
You never give up, and you will succeed... even if it takes you a hundred tries.
You are rational enough to see every part of a problem. You are great at giving other people advice.

You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life.
You are also a keeper of knowledge - meaning you don't spill secrets or spread gossip.
People sometimes think you're snobby or aloof, but you're just too deep in thought to pay attention to them.

You are deeply philosophical and thoughtful. You tend to analyze every aspect of your life.
You are intuitive, brilliant, and quite introverted. You value your time alone.
Often times, you are grumpy with other people. You don't appreciate them trying to interfere in your affairs.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated.
You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want.
You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way!

I have no idea if any of this is true about me, but it sounds pretty good, don't it?

Hahaha, talk about inflating a person's ego!

>>> Just a thought...

... about the power of Three.

Lightning strikes twice.

Magic strikes thrice.

And what strikes once?

Everything else apparently.

*laughs with a shrug*

But this is really about things happening in threes, or thrice as is the usual term, like magic.

Take the following, for example.

A good circle of immediate best friends occurs in threes. I'm serious. Have a good look the next time you see a large group of people pass you by; it'll just so happen that there will be small little 'circles' of threes within said group. Keep your eyes open. *grins*

The most popular of simple sexual fantasies happen to be threesomes. I'm not kidding, even if no one wants to admit to it. I would love to be involved in a threesome, though it'd have to be with people I know or love. *laughs* At least I'm honest, right?

It takes three cigarettes for me to be 'alright' to sleep. Yes, I have to smoke before I sleep. I know it's bad for me. Sue me.

The third skateboard that a body owns usually lasts the longest. Or it takes a lot shorter to disappear. In other words, stolen! I'm not kidding, it's happened to so many of my old skater buddies.

There's that saying of “the third time's the charm”, wherever that came from. Just goes to show that the third time 'round is usually better than the rest!

I could go on and on, but I wouldn't want to bore you too much.

So, the next time you're out and about, take a look around.

What do you see?

>>> It's been a week...

... and I've been so goddamned unproductive.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything new to put up here since my latest art pieces are pretty much up on dA. *shrugs* And I haven't been working on any new pieces of late, not even a movie review. Hell, I don't even have any new photos! But why, you ask?

Could it be the lack of inspiration? Not quite, though it should be a straight 'no' in all honesty, my friends. And with all my crew and some very important muses like Xaila, a most wonderful muse, in so many ways. *smirks*

Is it due to a lack of ideas? Nope, not at all, I have ton loads. Seriously. TON loads. Just ask Deboahan, IF you don't believe me. That's probably 'coz I have a brain that travels at speeds beyond normal thought in way too many different directions. At least that explains why I'm usually so scattered, eh? *laughs wryly*

The possible inability or non-possession of skills required to put said ideas to paper? A small portion of the reason, but not the whole of it.

Or could it be due to some other, unstated technical difficulty? Like, say, artist's block? A straight, flat-out NO is in order as an answer to this one... NO.

The honest, simple truth is that I've been feeling rather, well, moodless when it comes to art in general. I just do not possess the inclination to even pick up my pencils to start sketching. However, I know that I didn't force myself to do up the last few pieces of mine, so this is a rather recent development. No idea how it will last, seriously. I just hope that it's a short spell 'coz I have loads of stuff to do.

I see someone in the back raising their hand to ask a question... go ahead, boy-o, ask away.

Oh, you want to know where I am? As in right now? Well, just to satisfy some's curiousity about that, I'm currently sitting in my store, semi-curled up on a couch and feeling rather comfortable. Yes, I am such a couch whore. I love sofas-slash-couches and I even have an old two-seater in my bedroom. I swear that when I finally get my own crib, I will have at least one couch in each room.

Oh, such dreams... seems pretty simplictic, really, doesn't it? But I am a simple person, I guess, with a somewhat complicated mind.

Oh, did I mention that I'm also "Corrupt 25/7", according to some of my friends? I kinda agree with that... so much so that I tagged it up on my wall, just above the foot of my bed. *laughs*

Anyways, I'm chatting with my wonderful muse Xaila at the moment, so I should give her my full attention before she decides to crawl into bed... without me, unfortunately. *laughs again*

Laterz, gaterz, see y'all the next time 'round.

DISMISSED!!!

>>> Tales of the robotic kind...

... and of a most interesting store. *grin*

First up is the movie 'review' of the new animated feature film by Disney and Pixar, Wall-E.

On the whole, Wall-E was a totally different experience from most animated films that I've viewed.

First off, the whole film is based around the adventures of a lone surviving waste disposal 'bot, named WALL-E [which is an acronym for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class] that has a gained a form of sentience and has a grasp of emotions.

And he's such a sweet character, too. He has this aura of simplicity and innocence.

And the rest of the cast is amazing, with a hair-trigger-happy 'girl' 'bot, a cute li'l anti-biohazard one and a host of others.

The best part of the whole show?

There is next to no dialogue.

Yes, that's right. Most of the communication in this one is done via body language, expressions and sound effects. Amazing work.

Oh, and it manages to show the possible [worst-case] outcome if we keep up our current rate of waste production, along with the fallout of corporate privatization and dominance. The animators did a real fantastic job of portraying an Earth wracked by the result of over-pollution.

That, and what might happen if we rely overly much on technology.

So, you could say that there's a moral built into the movie.

All in all, this was a fantastic movie!

Cute, funny, touching and all together AWESOME.

The final rating?

A whooping outstandingly awesome TEN (10) out of ten (10), with more than enough "thumbs up" to make it worth not only watching in the cinemas, but adding it to your DVD collection, too.

Yeap, a perfect score.

You know what that means.

Yeap, yeap, I absolutely loved it!

And all of you - yes, YOU - should go watch this film!

And, now, moving on...

... it's been a helluva weekend at work.

And my last attachment for the week was at Tampines Mall, working the 9-5 stretch.

Yeah, yeah, like office hours, I know. But SB-TS was a cool place to work and I learnt some really cool stuff while I was over there. Hopefully, I don't forget what those things are, haha!

The partners were so welcoming, it was like finding a second home. Too bad that two of the partners I was in class with had quit from there. *sad shrug* Oh, well, I hope that whatever they're doing now is working out for them.

To Wandy, Iqah, Su "Flu" [previously from SB-NP], "Rainwoman" Connie, Martin, Alia, Faiz and "Face Doesn't Suit The Cap" Fahmi, thank you for a most wonderful and enjoyable shift in your store!

I'll try and drop by soon.

PROMISE!!!

Clockwise, from top left: Wandy, Iqah, Su "Flu", Connie & Faiz, Martin, "Rainwoman" Connie

With that, I leave thee till the next post...

Anyways, just a quick update.

I'm done with three of the four pieces for Shun's memorial, the last one is gonna be a killer on my brain and hands.

I've taken up another collaborative effort, this time with the Goddess Mapal. I am an idiot and overloading myself with more projects.

Crap.

And I'm currently chatting with Xaila, K-Fire and Snoppy in the RCT, which is where I'm heading back to. I swear that Snopz and Xai are like the two of the most gorgeous women that I've ever met, electronically speaking. *grins*

Oh, and Terra just came in; it looks like the insanity's stepping up a notch, so I'm outta here and heading back there.

And just to plug my woman - as in my friend, nothing more, though a guy could wish for more :D - Snoppy's new tutorial, with cool music, I'm leaving y'all a copy to watch right here.

Now, I'm outtie.

GOOD MORNING!!!

>>> The conundrum of the physical manifestory existence...

... as defined by the emotional response in reaction to external stimuli.

Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean, 'ey?

*laughs*

Oh, and look, we created a new word. I mean, seriously, is there even such a word as manifestory? Oh, wait, there is. Crap. So, it does exist, but has no official definition that I can find. Truly, the strange does exist on the cyber-networks of the world.

And, in all honesty, the title of the day actually, loosely refers to the act of watching a film and reactions to said watched films, among other things. It's truly open to your own interpretation, my dear reader.

Go figure, eh?

However, moving on...

... up next are four movie reviews as viewed by the common man that I am. Yes, four. Not one or two, but four.

Yes, this is what happens when I take a break from updating things.

So, let's get down to it.

First up, The Dark Knight of Gotham.

This was a pretty good movie, all things said and done.

But I am not going to over-praise Heath [may his soul rest in piece] for his portrayal of The Joker. Yes, he made an amazing Joker, really carried the role and pretty much stole the show. BUT that made me stop and think about whether it was his real-time death that made this movie role stand out even more. *shrug*

I say kudos to the scriptwriters and wonderful work by them. Heath just took his part and made their work glow on-screen.

Poor Aaron and Christian. Their characters of Dent and Wayne were so overshadowed by the Joker. I mean, the Joker seems to have more screentime than the Batman, it's ridiculuous! Christian even said, "I have no problem with competing with someone else. And that's going to make a better movie."

Boy, was he somewhat right.

But they should've renamed it The Joker or something like that. Unless, the Dark Knight is somehow referring to The Joker as well... *shrug*

Aaron was good as Dent and then as Two-Face, though I believe that his downwards spiral into madness seems rather sudden. Anguish equals instant insanity? Holy crazies, Batman!?

I think that the best line that came out of this movie is the one that Harvey says when at dinner with Wayne and Rachel, and is something along the following line, "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain."

The rest of the cast, like Oldman as Gordon [who is so understated and displays real emotion as a distraught man] and Caine as Alfred along with the short-lived Rachel played by Maggie plus Mr Freeman as Lucius Fox [OMG! FREEMAN!!! Blood good actor as a bonus! *insert many fangirls squealing*], were bloody brilliant and really brought extra "Oomph!" to the whole film.

However, I have one gripe...

... why can't Batman just get a voice modulator to change his voice instead of gutturally growling the whole way??? Like wtf, dudes.

All in all, a damn fine film that deserves a fantastic nine.

Why?

Just because I believe that the Batman shouldn't have to growl and spit.

AND because too many people give the Joker way too much credit.

So, HA! Eat THAT, Joker freaks!

Lol.

On a sidenote, I took my mom, Pervalidus and his mother to this movie. Our mothers were relatively unimpressed due to the music and such drowning out the dialogue, according to them.

The final rating - with one being completely abysmal and ten being, in Harebell's words, "greater than great!" - is.... drumroll, pleeease...

*drum roll played by a HUGE percussion band in the background that cuts out after a couple of minutes*

NINE, which means "a definite must-see and you'll be surprised at how good it is". *looks askance at the percussion band* Guys, that was a bit long, yes? Try for a shorter one next time, but thank you!

Final rating: A whopping NINE (9) out of ten (10).

Oh, and nice interesting little tidbit of info: Check out The Killing Joke graphic novel that was published by DC Comics back in 1988 and reprinted in 2003. You'll be surprised by what you read, I reckon.

By the way, if anyone can tell me where I can find the original 1988 print, aside from ebay, I would be most appreciative.

Next up, the third installment of the Mummy.

No, chaps, not YOUR mummy. The Mummy, as in the movie.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, to be exact.

Yes, The Mummy is back, but thankfully it's not the one from the previous two movies. However, it's an Asian one this time around that is kinda heavily borrowed from the continent's ancient history.

The Dragon Emperor and his terracotta army are found by Alex O'Connell, the son of Rick and Evy in the middle of some desert, while his parents are tasked to deliver an artifact to China. As usual, pure chaos ensues as a plot to revive the Dragon Emperor and have him conquer the world in order "to return it to a lawful state without corruption" [or some such ideal].

So, it's up to the O'Connells family and company to save the day.

The movie should be watched, really, but everything feels rather rushed, like the romance between the young Alex and Lin and the chase scene through the streets of Shanghai.

However, it is a nice trip away from the everyday if you're looking for a fantastical journey into adventure.

Oh, and Yetis play american football... we blame the wireless radio network back in the mid-40s for that, haha! Definitely a favourite part of the movie for me.

Overall, it deserves a rather high rating, but due to the unseemly rush inherent to the movie, it might suffer a bit in the score.

Final rating: an above average SIX AND A HALF (6.5) out of ten (10).

Moving on to the next movie in the line-up...

... is Death Race, the remake of an old 1975 movie entitled Death Race 2000.

Death Race has an interesting plot, with a couple of twists, which made for pretty cool viewing.

The amount of blood and gore didn't hurt, either.

And for once, there wasn't much sex and the like in it, though there was plenty of sex appeal.

The premise is a bit shaky if you ask me, though. I mean, the movie says that in four years, the US economy will collapse and that private corps will take over the running of most things, like the prisons. But that doesn't make sense, how the hell would they still have money to do?

And further more, will we be so stripped of humanity that we will actually watch people, even if they're incarcerated felons, fight to the death for pleasure?

Shows you what we'll eventually come to. No ca$h to survive with properly, but we'll spend a few bucks for entertainment.

Crap.

Jason Statham is pretty damn good in this movie, his facial expressions actually speaking volumes. And the way his character puts everything together to figure out how and who framed him is good, too. His character is also rather brilliant, especially with a little verbal help from Coach.

And the concept behind the races should be turned into a video game. In the first lap, drivers have to rely on their speed and skill; while in the second and third laps, their weapons can be armed, defences activated and traps activated. And all this by driving over these rather large, round metal tiles with the iconography of a sword, a shield and a skull. No prizes for guess what they activate, yeah?

Another cool thing is that the original Frankenstein from Death Race 2000, played by David Carradine, is reprised for the beginning of the movie as the Carradine Frankenstein drives the vehicle that gets blown up by "Machine Gun" Joe.

Natalie Martinez as Case was just pure hotness. And the only navigator to survive the whole Death Race. Go look her up, you hot-blooded lot, you won't regret it! :D

Anyways, this is another must watch, if just for the sheer simplicity and blatant action of it all.

However, the whole trailer pretty much gives away majority of the movie.

Final rating: another above average SIX AND A HALF (6.5) out of ten (10).

Ah, and finally the last of the four movies...

... the animated flick Star Wars: Clone Wars.

This is actually pretty good but is yet another movie that seems to end sooner than expected.

However, the style is fresh and the dialogue isn't as wooden as one would expect.

The way the clone troopers are depicted is also rather humanizing. In other words, they're pretty cool and not as retarded as you'd expect whole vatloads of them to be.

Generally, all round, it was a pretty dead cool flick and serves as a nice intro to the television series that'll be coming out this month Stateside.

However, one can't help but feel that it could've been better and that it lacked a certain flavour of some kind that one can't quite put his finger on.

That and the general feeling that spending ten bucks at the cinema to watch it was a waste, does NOT help it at all.

Final rating: a high percentile of SEVEN AND A HALF (7.5) out of ten (10).

Whew, now that's settled...

... I can move on to other things.

Work has been murder on my energy levels, and it doesn't help that my mom has me started on some weird Herbalife product that's supposed to help me lose weight. Unfortunately, I have to take double the normal amount 'coz it doesn't leave me filled and I get hungry after like a coupla hours.

Now, however, I'm kinda slacking on the Herbalife and I've finally got four days of blissful off.

Well, it would be blissful if I didn't have to do other stuff.

Like what stuff do I have to do, you ask?

Well, there are those pieces that I have to do for Shun's memorial [one and a half down, three and a half more to go; oh, crap.] which will be due in about 7 days or less. *choking sounds fade into the background*

Then, there's the hoodie that I'm working on. Have to get together all the designs for the patches, find a suitable 6 yards of cloth to use as the inner lining plus work on stenciling certain exterior panels.

And I have to perfect my Alien Organix style, sketch out my name since I haven't done it in ages, finalise some handstyles for Kawaiikunaii [which is not as easy as it sounds since I have not been able to produce anything that I actually like so far], finish up some other sketches that I've started, figure out what images to be used for my laptop Ikari's skin, get my next tattoo design settled and put down a few more t-shirt design concepts.

PLUS a half a dozen or more pieces to be done.

Not to mention the first chapter of Crossbones' Tales, my fanfic based in the Jovian Chronicles' universe, which is still lying fallow in my hard disk.

Along with having to plan either a new Exalted campaign or a Scion one while having to update the ol' Wolves of the Apocalpyse blog. OMG.

*shakes head* My head could go for a spin at this rate. Busy is not the word, innit?

At least I've finished a coupla pieces, like the ones below. Even if one of them wasn't really in the pending-job-queue...

The top one is a request by my shift supe Huda, who I rarely get to see and reminds me of a grumpy mother bear at times, haha! The t-shirt was a spontaneous design with a stencil ouuta a mag on a freshly purchased Giordano tee, done a couple of Sundays ago after treating Mach2 to homemade Bombay Toast. Doesn't he look oh-so pleased?

Haha!

Oh, yeah, just to let you lot know, I have a new second-hand laptop and it's been christened IKARI. Epic win! And, like I mentioned earlier, I'm hoping to get it skinned later this month.

That, and hopefully a new battery for poor Ikari-kun.

Cor.

But it also looks like it'll be backburned 'coz i've to help pay the utilities' bill. Cripes, there goes my expenditure plan right out the window. And I still have to save ca$h, too, for my second tattoo.

Oh, dear God.

Oh, and I found the alphabet that the Star Wars universe uses, and in true fanboy fashion, I want my real name done up in it as a tattoo. Like either along my forearm, around an ankle or along the base of my neck. Hahahahaha! I mean, it'd be freaking cool to have tattoo done in Aurebeshi, as it's called, I reckon. *grins*

Yes, I am nuts. Go figure, 'ey?

In my own personal life, my love life is a fecking mess. I accidentally proposed to one woman that I've known for eons, I'm in love with another that I've known for ages and basically watched grow up [relax, she's five years younger than me] but will never be able to get but we're kinda dating [I think], and there's a hopeless 16 year old after me. Amazing, non? Most guys would kinda kill to be wanted or somewhat involved with three women, but here I am wanting to be shot...

... like I say to my fellow Baristas, "Bar, I need to be shot!"

And I so need a full-time job that pays. But I've given up on finding one here in this godforsaken country.

*sigh*

Holy crap.

I'm screwed, aren't I?

Anyways, I've been meeting up peeps that I'ven't seen for a while as of late, like Candyman, Straight Arrow, Grimm, Ferret, Pervalidus, Da J-Meister, Ghoul and Reena. And all of 'em aren't doing too badly, which is good. And my sisters Flalicious and Sassin called me over the last two days, which was really sweet of them; hopefully, I get to see them both soon.

And work has been fun, meeting new peeps all the time. It's damnably fun working so many different oartners at so many different stores.

But I've only seen my store like 4 times out of the last fifteen days; I miss my base! I've been working at Shaw [ST], Bugis Junction [BG], Vivocity 2 [V2] and The Concourse [CS] over the remaining portion. Not to say that I had no off during those fifteen days, I did have some.

Three days of it.

*laughs*

Anyways, below are the few miserable pictures that I managed to get, with many declining to be remembered on digital film for all eternity due to various reasons; the leading reason being "I'm not pretty enough for this right now!", haha!

Amira and Affendi from Shaw Tower, Xiong with his damn cool shades from Thomson Plaza [Looking good, bro!], Santiago from Bugis, Myself with Yul and Pearly from Bugis [I love you two! ;)], Farrah and "Sharky" representing for Vivocity's two stores [Gorgeous ladies! *dreamy sigh* ;)] and Haffiz from Vivocity 2.

And that's pretty much it for this entry...

... so I'll leave you with something extra for your visual pleasure.

Yes, I'm a Macross fanboy.

>>> Like a blow...

... in the back of a crowded bus.

Like, what the hell, y'all?

Holy crap. Suddenly, it's like there are so many damn KAZEs out there, like kangaroos in the Outback, you know what I mean? Worse still, they all claim to be ONE, as in the only or the first.

I'm sorry to disappoint, boys [and perhaps girls], but I was Kaze FIRST. Since 19-fucking-82. Alright!?

Therefore, I ain't KAZEone no more.

Oh, no, I sure as fucking hell ain't.

It's KAZEfirst from now on.

Y'all dig this?

You do?

GOOD.

'Nuff said.

Yeap, that's right, kiddies, I need a break from things.

Though I can't believe that I actually do. Amazing, don't you think?

Or maybe I should just take things slow and not rush things.

Well, we'll see how it goes.

>>> Need some lovin'...

... 'coz I'm a-feelin' poorly.

*Warning: Foul language ahead. Leave NOW if you cannot stomach such language. We here at Musings on the Breeze will not be held responsible for any negative reactions to the following entry. You have been warned.*

Fuck.

Fallin' sick, gotta runnin' nose...

*nose pops off and takes off at a sprint*

... FREAKIN' 'ELL, GET BACK 'ERE, GORRAMMIT!!!

*nose runs off into the distance*

Fuck.

As I was saying, my nose is a-runnin' and I have a bloody 'eadache due to all the sneezin'. And I reckon it's 'coz I was clearing the worktable in my room. Finally, I can work at it... now I need a freakin' work-lamp!

*sigh*

And to top it all off, the crib feels HAWT, like a freakin' sauna. Gorrammit.

*clutches head with a hand*

And my head's poundin' like a boomin' amplifier on steroids being powered by a 1000 megawatt generator and being hit on by a sledgehammer, and to top it all off, the so-called 'soft' light exuded by the screen's a-killin' my eyes as i type this.

My mom's being a real ***** about me being sick, a freakin' first. And yes, I'm upset about it. I've never had my mom turn me away or anything like that before. Maybe it's part of growing up... something the lines of growing a spine and lookin' after yourself? Well, if I still have to grow a spine, I hope to fuckin' God that it freakin' GLOWS. 'Specially during sex.

Or maybe she's just irritable 'coz she's tired after work.

*longer sigh*

Nothin' else to say, really, just lookin' for sympathy.

At least I'm honest.

Fuck.

In other news...

12 hour shift last Saturday! Amazing beyond all freakin' belief. Why the hell are other stores playing punk with us in regards to attachment partners!?

FUCK.

Oh, and I drew a piece for Ayura from SBLS in return for a pack of cigs; and I still owe her a KFC meals over a very silly bet. Lesson learnt in this 'ere 'nstance is to use yer thrice-damned eyes an' dun' be too damn cocksure, sonny.

I'm gonna have a lie-down and be miserable in my room.

Fuck. Again.

I need sex, fer Christ's sakes.

FUCK. FUCK. FUCK.

Crap.

*collapses on bed*

>>> The big, red guy...

... isn't too much of an asshole and is All Heart, ain't he?

LOL.

Yeah, finally getting around to reviewing both Hellboy 2 The Golden Army and Hancock.

Hellboy 2's visuals and created characters are everything that one would expect from Guillermo, with the strange, repulsive and yet strangely beautiful creatures that he designs or has designed to inhabit the worlds that he directs.

Other than that, the movie was rather disappointing.

That is IF you bought into all the hype that now surrounds a movie before it is released.

Though it departs from the traditional hammer-and-pound of the previous film, it's take of mythical and folklore-ish creatures along with some historical basis [Thank you, ABE!] more than makes up for it, in my honest opinion. Especially with the actual authentic Gaelic that the Sidhe speak.

Though the humour is rather lame at times, it somehow fits in the setting of Hellboy 2, more than one can believe. Though it had several watchers "palming their face", as it were, it had more than its fair share of the audience laughing.

My favourite portions of this movie were the scenes in which the Prince Nuada is performing his blade katas, and the drunken singing of Abe & Hellboy when they were feeling miserable over their loves.

I enjoyed watching the movie, though some may argue that one factor was that I'd managed to pull a dozen people - Alan, Andrew, Carol, Ero-Otaku, Ferret, Ghoul, Grim, Mach2, Pervalidus, Sassin, Ting and myself - along for the ride, but it was fun, visually appealing and not as predictable as one would expect.

Overall, it was an enjoyable watch, with a good mix of humour, action, drama and fantasy.

Oh, and by the way, Johann Krauss was a wicked addition to the cast and story.

Final rating: a 'grand' score of seven (7) out of ten (10).

Hey, it could've been worse. If Carol'd fallen asleep, the rating would've dropped even further! Hahahahaha!!!

But, do watch the film!

Next up, HANCOCK...

... is another kind of movie. Different in its own way and explores the human side of a superhero.

It was rather refreshing and the humour was easy enough to understand, leaving the audience in stitches.

Except for the prison confrontation which had the audience despairing about whether to feel horrified, to laugh maniacally or both!

That was genius and I can't wait for the Director's Cut DVD when it comes out. But that's another story in itself.

The real kicker is when we, the audience, find out about his past and the fact that the PR guy's wife is like Hancock... and Hancock's bloomin' wife.

And the newly designed suit that the PR dude makes for Hancock is kinda cool, even if it looks like something out of the X-Men.

I don't want to spoil this for everyone, but you gotta watch this movie, seriously!

And the ending is like nothing that you'll ever think of.

Oh, and by the way, the fact that the Singaporean theaters actually changed the vista that you see on reflected on Hancock's shades just plain SUCKS and reeks of utter hubris.

Final rating: a mighty score of eight (8) out of ten (10).

There done.

Finally I can rest my bloody eyes.

And I can stop cracking my head.

Till the next time.

Laterz, gatorz.

>>> Maple syrup cravings...

... lead to pancakes.

Yes, they do.

It's either that or Maple Macchiattos.

But, yes, I have a craving for pancakes.

Six-inch wide, fluffy, mouth-watering pancakes with a hint of vanilla with a thin spread of butter over the top and smothered in maple syrup. Along with creamy vanilla ice-cream scoops laid on thick over it all.

With a large heaping of bacon, sausages, fried sunnyside-up eggs and lightly done toast on the side.

And a large glass of sweet orange or blackcurrant juice to top it all off.

Yes, I am hungry.

Yes, it's a weird time to crave for pancakes.

But do I look like I care?

Do I?

No, I don't.

I. WANT. PANCAKES.

Soooo...

... who's buying?

>>> More photos...

... and I pray that I do not end up turning this place into a photo blog.

God, I seriously hope not!

Well, good evening, infidels. According to news reports, Osama ran into Blizzard's server room and things, well, went downhill form there. XD

Ok, I've been watching way too much Achmed the Dead Terrorist. Go look him up on YouTube if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

That, and watching my brothers play WoW.

*shrug*

Anyways, on the 23rd, I bid farewell to Starbucks Northpoint, one of my old haunts for years, as it shut down for the next year due to renovations. *sigh* So many poignant memories... now to see wether my crew and paint the walls!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Speaking of Starbucks, I believe that I'm married to my job... and, yet, I can still screw up without realizing it. CRAP. Therefore, plan number one: KEEPING MY MOUTH SHUT!!!

And that's it. Simplissimo!

Feh.

Here are some photos of my fellow Starbuck-ians, from NP and OE. Gods, I love you guys. :D

Boi, Abang Isk, Abang Nas, "Haven't Even Clocked in Yet" Eugene, Aisyah and Daniel "Dan Dan the Man, Twice the Man of the other Dan". A most fantabulous bunch of people. Hope to work with all y'all again! :)

And apologies for the lateness of the post, you guys, I've been busy.

More stuff needs to be posted up here, but it's getting quite late and I need to save my DS from my youngest brother...

... that, and I need to sleep!

After a quick smoke, of course.

Peace out, SGC!!!

>>> No ideas for a title...

... and running out of time 'coz I have to get ready for work.

Cor and blimey.

Yet again, I find myself in front of the computer screen when I shouldn't be. Oh, well, I'm a computer addict, so I guess that's one reason why I'm back again.

That, and the fact that this here blog o' mine really needs some somewhat meaty literature.

But there's not much to tell. Not right now, in any case. Why?

'Coz I'm still up to the same old tricks, like still trying to finish art requests, composing the so-called first chapter of The Crossbones' Tales, searching for & compiling a list of songs as a playlist for said story, planning clothing [as in patches, t-shirts and hoodies] concepts and watching anime. And all this while juggling work, household chores and my time with my crew. *shakes head* This kinda living could definitely result in a burn out or, at worst, a complete meltdown.

But I digress and I have less than 9 minutes left in which to type, so I'll keep this short.

Things to look out for on this wonder ful little blog located somewhere in the vast electronic inkiness of cyberspace:
- A review of the movie Hellboy 2
- A recap of the past coupla weeks, in detail
- Another photograph series upload
- Possibly an 'art dump', who knows?

And is there anything else that you lot would like to see up here?

Aside from sex related items, that is. I'll leave those kind of things to the professionals.

Hahahaha!

See y'all in a few.

Peace.
