I've realised that I rarely update this space of mine and for that I have to apologise.
Though, in my own defence, there have been extenuating circumstances, like work and the lack of motivation to do anything of real import.
And, besides, not much else has been happening lately.
Except for...
1. ... work being completely nuts and very tiring, but at least the peeps at work are nice. Riyah is the sweetest, tho', Hann is narrow-minded to the point of obsession with the subject of sex, Julian is pretty damn nice as well and, well, what can I say, all the Partners in my outlet are pretty good to me.
2. ... watching Speed Racer on Monday with Cho', Ferret, Ghoul and Pervalidus. It wasn't a bad movie, but a bit overboard wih the technicolor lights. Near epilepsy inducing, I swear. @_@'''
3. ... meeting Rach after work in Thomson Plaza on Wednesday. We talked for hours and it was great to see her again after so long. And, my God, has she grown!
4. ... heading out on Friday to the store outting at Arab Street. Had some pretty damn good food and shisha till my throat burned, lol! It was pretty cool. Have to transfer the photos that I took to the comp soon.
5. ... meeting up today with Lastride, Ferret, Pervalidus and Ghoul downtown in Cathay's Starbucks where we chilled while discussing stuff like art and Exalted. Came up with some good stuff, too. After Lastride had gone home, we headed down to Sim Lim. Along the way we met one of the regs from ViD and I reserved volumes 6 to 8 of the Air Gear manga. We hit Sim Lim at a leisurely stroll, getting the goods for Ferret in good time. We headed down to Bugis where we browsed through stuff in Kino and the comic store while cursing and swearing that we didn't have enough money to purchase the books that we wanted, tho' Ferret got a load of books that he wanted and now suffers from cognitive dissonance. Haha! Before we left for home, we visited Starbucks Bugis and surprised Riyah. All in all, a pretty good day. :)
And, now, with all that done, I'm off to play some WoW.
Even though what I really need is some solid loving.
*shrug*
Make do with what I have, right.
Tchao.

>>> All things come to an end...
... too bad it has to hurt when they do.
However, amazingly, it doesn't hurt as much as it should.
Yeap, Schakatze broke up with me on Saturday. Back to being "just friends".
No, I didn't cry and nor was I depressed. Much.
And, yes, I truly am blessed to have such a supportive and extensive extended family.
My sisters Lastride, 'Sassin, Project:K, Angel, Genetik Disaster ['GD'], ChocFudge, Flalicious (UK), Cha-Cha and Raven; my brothers Ferret, Twitch, Pervalidus, Plasticated (NZ), Ghoul and Nezrael; my peeps at Starbucks who know about this and that means Huda, Joseph, Adam and Nas; my crewmates Azhki47 & Heal21. All your words of wisdom and such kept me out of the muck of utter despair and my mind on the job.
Some individual props need to go out, so without further ado...
Lastride :: You're the very first one that I called and thank you so very much for being willing to talk to me even though you were busy. Thanks even more for the pep-talk and for cheering me up, it helped!
ChocFudge :: Thanks ever so much for getting me out of my crib, treating me to that movie & dinner and for making me laugh so much... and for putting up with all my nonsense while we walked back to your 'hood.
Flalicious :: Thanks for calling me all the way from Bristol, babe, it was great to hear from you and I appreciate your concern. *hugz*
Plasticated & Project:K :: Dude & Dudette, I don't know what I'd have done without you guys talking to me for that hour and a half. And, yes, I promise to not commit suicide, but I still didn't say anything about assisting in someone else's suicide! :D
God if I keep this up, this will go on forever...
.... suffice to say that I am bloody grateful and appreciative of all your support over the weekend. MUCH LOVE!!!
Oh, and I'm gonna be a godfather in June. Cha-Cha's having a baby. :)
FAMILY BEFORE SELF, BLOOD ABOVE ALL
Peace.

>>> Speaking to ghosts
This is just a short entry so you lot out there don't have to remain bent over your keyboards and in front of the screen for very long. Though I expect that some of you would still remain in said position for far longer. For that, I blame two things: World of Warcraft and porn. Yes, I said the 'p' word in my blog. Should that make my blog for only the masses above the age of 18?
I think not.
After all, there are thirteen year olds that are going at it like rabbits anyway.
But I digress. Moving on...
The last week has been rocky in the Department of Hearts. My over-submissiveness & clingy-ness and her attention-span & her dominance (which she's trying to scale back) combined with some mislaid communiques caused quite a bit of trouble for the both of us, to say the least. Schakatze and I had a talk about it yesterday, so things should be somewhat worked out. Now, to see whether my actions of the previous day bear fruit in any way.
I can only work towards making things better between us, provided that she works with me on it, of course. It takes two to make something like this work. *keeps his fingers crossed* I can but hope everything goes well while I work at it.
She's the first woman in my life who has actually reduced me to having stress headaches and sleeplessness if I haven't seen or heard from her in a while. Sickening much? And I do love the woman... I miss her even though I just saw her yesterday.
On the job front, I've started training with Starbucks. Yeap, I'm back to being a barista which is something I'd enjoyed before my trip to OZ and hopefully I'll continue to do so at Starbucks. However, unlike Spinelli's, I have some concrete goals for the job: (1) I'm aiming to be a Learning Coach [it's like an in-store, on-the-job trainer], however long it takes and (2) I'm going to attempt to convert to full-time once I get the hang of the job, which should be in two months.
Amazingly, my mom is willing to let me stay in this job.
Though my father is being a ******* about it and dropping snide remarks at almost every opportunity.
*suffering-filled sigh*
In other news, however...
I held the first proper weekly meeting for Project:CORE today at my place which was attended by Pervalidus, Ferret and Ghoul. Schakatze was absent 'coz of last minute duty at ViD as Joeb had fallen sick and someone had to fill the day shift since Ijad took over the night shift.
At least the Project is somewhat on track and will [hopefully] remain to be so in the future. Can't tell you what it's about yet, but it seems that it might be a pretty big deal. Wish us luck!
Oh, and before I forget, my older sister Christina in Oz finally added me on Facebook after getting an account. W00t! She is a true gem of a sister and I do miss her a helluva lot.
<<< I've also pre-ordered this figurine through Micah along with the Ringo figurine. Why? 'Coz I like the costume design and, let's face it, the character looks cool.
Gimme a break, ok, you oh-so Pure Ones, there is no ulterior and/or perverted reason behind me getting it, other than indulging my otaku tendencies and my need to own items that I like, alright!?
Where'd I get the ca$h for not one but TWO figurines? Hehehehehe, I'm so not telling. So, I'll leave it all to your imaginations.
Now that this is done, I'll leave you to watch a pretty cool video about the TF2 Scout class, who dresses like a baseball player and sounds like he's from Brooklyn or the Bronx. *laughs*

Well, now you guys and gals can go back to watching your oh-so wonderful porn. Or playing World of Warcraft.
Or whatever you feel is your cup of tea.
So much for short entries, eh?
And you're wondering what I'm up to now? How sweet of you. *sounds of vomitting in the background* Okay, perhaps a tad bit too sweet.
To set your minds at ease, I'm off to sleep for some much deserved sleep.
G'night, y'all, enjoy your dreams.
While they last.

>>> Ah, I'm more lucid and awake now...
... which should be a good thing, right?
Nope, not a bit.
Why? Well, because I'd rather be asleep and ignoring the whole world right now. Well, maybe not the whole world, but close enough.
Yes, I'm being selfish. I think I'm entitled to be like that every once in a while, don't you think? You don't?
Hypocrites. *pinched look* All of you. H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E-S.
*grimaces* Okay, fine, that wasn't really very fair of me 'coz some of you aren't. But MOST of you are. So there. HAH!
Yeah, yeah, I sound like a petulant six year old. I get the point, natch.
Anyways...
... Azhki's back from Japan just last night and being the nice guy that I am, I will not be heading over to his crib with Schakatze and/or Pervalidus to ransack his luggage and make his current state of life generally miserable. After all, Schakatze has work tomorrow and definitely will not feel like getting out of bed anyway [especially if she pulled an all-nighter].
But we'll see how it goes. For now, I have housework to do, like vacuuming the house and clearing up the laundry. Bleah. How I detest household chores.
Exalted, on the other hand, is a blast and a half. And as much as I grouse about it, Schakazte's right, I do enjoy it. 'Specially the bits when I cause those priceless expressions on her face, which don't quite really compare to a certain other expression that I've seen only a couple of times but would love to see more of. *mischievously evil grin* But I digress. Now to figure out exactly how much downtime they will be getting to train up their wonderful overpowered li'l characters. Raliel seems to be roleplaying to irritate, but I think the rest of the players will thoroughly murder his character later on. Additionally, we might actually have a Lunar Exalted join us later on in May in the guise of one WhiskeyWulf [aka Kenneth L], which means we might actually get to use his residential area to play in, haha!
I sense even more impending insanity with the rest of the party plotting to kill Raliel, the possibility of a new Lunar Exalted joining in and a pugnacious squirrel NPC. Don't ask.
People, I sense a disturbance in the Exalt.
Sorry, I couldn't resist the inclusion of that corny line.
Pervalidus and I charged through the first season of VanDread on Wednesday night which basically wiped us out for Thursday. Yes, I know, VanDread is old, but it's still damn good. *silly grin* Thirteen episodes, what a blast.
I think that I'll watch the next thirteen by myself and then upload the VanDread OVA from a CD-R to HIMAWARI. Yes, I've named my portable hard disk, is that a problem? I have a name for the second one, too: HIKARI. Provided I can get it to work first. *laughs* Oh, and damn, looks like I'll have to re-download the Vandread OVA. My CD is fsk'd.
<< This is the figurine that I want to get as right now. It's Ringo Noyamano of Air Gear by Oh! Great and the figurine is designed by Yamato. You can read the full article [not that there is much to read] and see more shots of this figurine along with a couple of others at Danny Choo or or by heading directly to the article itself: Figure Pre-Orders at Danny Choo's.
Yes, I'm a guy. No, I'm not a perv. I'm just a huge fan of Air Gear and love getting my dirty paws on Air Gear stuff. *grin*
It's apparently available for pre-order and costs a whopping 7,140 yen! Which is nearly SG$93. I think that I need to ask Micah where I can order it in Singapore, but I'm gonna need the ca$h first.
So, like I asked before, anyone have that much ca$h lying around to spare a poor broke otaku like me?
Gods, help me get my ca$h from the people that owe me! ARGH!!!
... To make my life even more annoyingly wierd, deviantART seems to be fsk'ing up on me. Bloody thing won't let me comment, fave or collect pieces and journals. Bloody hell... dA, what gives!? *long, undulating and rather loud sound of anguish and agony*
*coughs and composes myself* Ahem... so sorry about that. I do so hope that none of your eardrums burst and bled.
Though I believe part of me would so enjoy seeing some of you suffer that way. Haha.
Gotsta go now, see y'all.

>>> It's been a while...
... and I just needed to post at least ONE update so this place doesn't get too stale, y'know what I mean?
Words of warning: cheonging one half of an anime series overnight is so NOT a good idea, even if you really can't sleep. Why? 'Coz for the rest of the day [during daylight hours], you'll be rather zombified and really, really lethargic. I wasted a whole day today and didn't really achieve much other than getting yelled at in the morning - Pervalidus actually slept through the hurricane of yelling and shouting - and getting my Draenei shaman, Vrochenzo, on Terenas to level 15. Big whoop. Though I must say that being tenacious enough to try to accomplish a quest that is so much higher than my regular level is madness and yet so rewarding. Right.
Okay, I'm rambling and I think that I need sleep... *YAWN*
... that settles it, I'm off to sleep.
But I'll leave you with some entertainment, at least, and the picture of the figurine that I really want to get...
... and speaking of which, can anyone spare me 7,140 yen?
LOL.
